Overgang was founded by two ecommerce food founders who were sick of getting pushed around. Not by the market — by the co-packers themselves. Big facilities. Private equity ownership. Executives who cared about margin extraction, not about whether your brand survived the process.
One of our founders lost nearly $250,000 being bounced between PE-backed co-packers who forced large minimum runs — runs that lowered the per-unit cost on paper but generated hundreds of thousands in raw material waste when things went wrong. And when things did go wrong? They didn't want to make it right. They wanted to protect their margin and move on.
That's not a tagline. That's the reason Overgang exists. We have been exactly where you are — trying to prove a concept, running lean, needing a partner who treats a 3,000-pouch run with the same seriousness as a 300,000-pouch run. We didn't find that partner. So we became it.

The co-packing industry has a dirty secret: large minimums benefit the facility, not the brand. They fill the machine, pad the invoice, and leave you holding inventory you couldn't move. When you're building something new, the right move is small runs — prove the market, prove the formula, prove the demand — then scale.
Overgang is built around that reality. We think of ourselves less as a vendor and more as a consultant invested in your growth. We'll connect you with local corrugated suppliers when you need boxes. We'll tell you when bulk packout makes more sense than full assembly for your stage of business. We are FDA registered, run horizontal form fill seal, and fill from 2,000 to 24,000 pouches per production day. We also handle ecommerce fulfillment. All of it at honest pricing, because that's how we'd want to be treated.

We charge a day rate starting at $3,500. You know your production cost upfront. No per-unit fees that balloon as your run progresses, and no surprise charges after the fact.

A 2,000-pouch run is a legitimate production run at Overgang — not a favor. Small brands deserve the same professionalism as large ones, and that's how we operate.
Compliance you can count on
We are an FDA registered facility. We don't cut corners on documentation, and we'll never be the reason a brand fails an audit or gets rejected by a buyer.
Straight communication
If we can't run your product — wrong format, fill weight out of spec, lead time conflict — we'll tell you immediately. Not after weeks of back and forth.

Worth saying upfront
Not the right fit for everyone.
If you need runs over 15,000 pouches per shift, or your fill weight falls outside 9–75 grams, we're probably not your best option at this time. Overgang is also not the right fit for liquid or semi-solid fills — our equipment is purpose-built for dry powders only.
